Our Organisation

Territory Child Care Group has provided child care services in the Northern Territory for over 40 years. Our services include long day care, family day care, after school, and vacation care. We have been operating in the Territory for over 40 years, and our staff turnover is exceptionally low. We believe that play is the medium by which children learn, explore and experience their environment. Territory Child Care Group has an exceptional team of qualified, experienced and passionate educators who work together to provide quality education and care programs that are responsive to the individual needs of each child within our care. Our focus is on delivering quality play-based learning experiences that are both enjoyable and challenging for the children. Our educators are highly qualified and experienced professionals passionate about working with children. Our History

Territory Child Care Group Inc started as a Family Day Care Scheme in 1977 and has evolved to include Murraya Children's Centre (2008), Maniltoa Children's Centre (2020) and Bees Creek Outside School Hours and Vacation Care (2007). Territory Child Care Group is a part of the local community and takes pride in ensuring that every child that attends any one of their centres feels like they are part of a family. 

With over 40 years of experience, Territory Child Care Group is driven by constant education and learning. Our educators are constantly continuing their education and are passionate about early childhood education. We know every child is different, and we work with children and their families to create a curriculum that best fits their interests and learning style. We regularly communicate with you about your child’s progress and day-to-day experiences so that you can feel confident that they are receiving the best possible care. Territory Child Care Group is an established part of the local community, and we are proud to be able to offer our services to families in the Territory.

Our Governance

Territory Child Care group is a Not- for -Profit organisation. Reporting to the Board, the Director based at our Head office is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Territory Child Care Group. The Director is supported by a Management Team responsible for specific aspects of the organisation's work. 

In maintaining our strategic plan cycle, we seek and use observation, information and feedback that reflects the stakeholders' needs and provides a framework for our mission and goals.  We set operational priorities so that people know where to focus their efforts and have a vision for the future. Continuous quality improvement provides principles and tools for guiding the planning and improvement processes to celebrate strengths and successes and address limitations, barriers, and weaknesses.
